FAQ
How does it work?
The parent/guardian or student over 18 years old require a FREE initial consultation. Via email, you will then describe what your needs are.
Portuguese and English are the two languages we offer from the basic vocabulary to more advanced stages.
Payment is ONLY made via Paypal or bank transfer at least 24h before of the start of the preparation of the lessons plans and material. If payment by bank transfer is chosen, bank details will be provided on demand.
Each week every student will receive at least two personalised work sheets dealing with writing, reading and vocabulary skills, one audio file for the listening skills and a Skype session lasting 1 hour where the reading and speaking skills are examined. The Skype session is the one needing a confirmed booking from both sides. In terms of constant help, conversations over email and messenger servers are 24/7. All communication WILL be answered ASAP.
Whenever possible records of all conversations will be kept.
Parents are advised to attend ALL the Skype conversations and review all material provided by the tutor created and/or sourced specifically for the student in question.
How much are the weekly lesson plans?
Because there are no strings attached, e. g. no contract, online sessions are paid weekly. After the FREE consultation, parents and/or students will agree on a date to start and the payment must be made up to 24h before. Please understand that ALL lesson plans and activities are personalised whether they are created by the tutor or sourced and organized having in mind that specific student, so they will ONLY be prepared upon receipt of payment. The sooner the better.
For a Skype session, one audio file, two personalised worksheets, 24/7 messenger and email conversations every week the expected payment is of £18.
